if your concerned about the truck you drive leaking fuel tank then don’t go to a logistics company
There bottom line is money verses needed repairs
Being that I was a previous an owner operator going to a company
That don’t take care of the trucks they buy tells a lot about a company that has company drivers that is a
Owner operator company.
I have worked for paradigm for 3 months and for 3 months I have told them of the leaking fuel tank I have had 2 dot inspections and passed both. How making sure truck was dirty to hide the leak .
Other issues are no means of using my sleep apnea machine oh truck has a tri pac it doesn’t work so there for no machine working.
This is a red flag how much a company really care about the drivers company only .
When a driver tells you that he is going to head out to make sure his load arrives on time and there worried about idling for 3 Days
Really so you would rather have me take a chance on bad weather verses smart driving a smart driver get there early so the stress of the load is on receivers property.
It’s called on time delivery 2 Days early because of the snow wind and weather conditions. It’s called experience. But that’s the difference of a professional driver and a dispatcher who has never been in a truck
Stay away from paradigm/ r and r express

If you made the truck appear to not have a leak, then that's on you, my friend. Let the DOT find it, shut the truck down. Then let the company deal with it.
nightgunner, Broke Down 69, baha and 3 others Thank this. -
Is that not part of the inspection, not leaking excessive fluids that can burn, make road slick in rain, Always look under the truck when leaving and coming back to see if the puddles change or you may be stuck somewhere roasting your weinny.

*DOT stopped me in my W/star on fulton Ind. in atl,ga his insp. lasted an hour but as I was signing a good report he looked out his side window and spotted a half in. round fuel drip that that took over 1 hour to form, OOS was now on my form, but i had to have another driver from co. p/u trailer with single axle truck to del. just down 4/lane

This company is 100% owner operator with a few company drivers. They say they give you 30%
But after they take your fuel out as a company driver it seems to be less pay. Like what ever they want to pay. But remember they don’t pay empty miles they hold your 1st check why ? . They lost several of my loads again why?. I had 2 roadside level 1 and level 2 the 1st 2 moths I worked there the annual inspection is due they refuse to get this truck inspected again why?
Oh I forgot the fuel tank is leaking
The excuse is they been looking
Really I have given you several different contacts. Non force dispatch means if I don’t want to go then I don’t have to over Christmas and New Years I had to go pick up a load and sit on it for 4 Days no pay
Why . Communication there is none at first yes but then no phone calls answered no texts answered it’s your choice to work wherever. But you have been forewarned as a company driver. I ran dedicated glass from meadville pa to e town ky. Then instead of getting a reload back out going back up I would get broker loads again . I lost money on every load , and no detention pay they get it not the driver. To have a dispatcher call me a mf . Is so unprofessional and to tell me that I will never be anything is classless
Since I did 10 yrs military I was an owner operator for 6 yrs making 6 figures. I guess he figures his college education was top shelf
But then again he’s a Michigan fan
That explains alot -
Ok so.... 98% o/o then?
-
But yet you continued to work there for three months.
-
they take your fuel out as a company driver? If you move the truck with a leaking tank, whose fault is that?
Why you still there?Lonesome Thanks this. -
The world awaits the answer.....
Broke Down 69 Thanks this.
