    Must you take your DOT physical in the state where you attend Community College or can it be taken anywhere?

    As long as the person performing the exam is registered with the FMCSA as an examiner, you're fine wherever you might get the physical done.

    If you are a company driver you may have to take the physical with one of their approved doctors, but the state does not matter.
