I'm in phase 2 with my driver trainer and we shutdown last night at a pilot and he went home for a day left me here in the truck until tommorow morning we roll out.
First night sleeping I had a lot lizard come to my door I nodded my head go away and she left. Then when I went to bed for the night I set the Opti idle because we have an Epu and when I was in a deep sleep when the truck fired up I jumped out of my bunk thinking I was in a nightmare and the truck was moving! Lol it was scary I was shaking like a leaf it was nuts haha. But I hear this is common for newbies thinking they are dreaming the truck is rolling away. Man I jumped down from that top bunk.and into that driver seat quicker then a bat out of hell. Sat there shaking and woke up realizing everything was fine it's just doing it's thing.
What a night haha Other then that I got the best shower of my life here. The water pressure and volume on these showers are no joke. Water comes out like 10 gallons a minute!
First night parked at a truck stop in starting my career

Don't get TOO used to the water volume or pressure. But seriously, if a truck stop shower was "the best shower of your life", I kinda feel sorry for you. You HAD taken showers before, right?Grubby, m16ty, 10speed4me and 10 others Thank this. -

I haven't had anyone knock on my door in more then 18 months. And I stay in truck stops most every night. Where the hell did the trainer put you?
Congratulations on the start of your new career. You're gonna have good days and bad days but the job gets easier with each passing day and with each practiced maneuver and learned skill and lesson. -
