Running with JCT, Part Deux

Better get some detention!

 

I did this to somebody on a swap but he caught it and gave me the load back. It was 900 over on the cali hole. I had it in hole 7 which had the load perfectly balanced...33,800, 33900, 11300, something like that. I took the risk and delivered it. No choice really. Made it with no hassle, but still mistake made.

The thing is, I had no idea that the cali hole was hole 5. I usually just go by the red mark and leave it at that (no mark on this trailer). I have made the horrible mistake of not paying attention. I got reamed on this one because of my inattention. That swap would have been my home time swap if I hadn't messed up. Instead I delivered this to L.A. area hell with a dock so tight, it gave me PTSD (well, exaggerating a bit). This delayed my home time by over a week because I had to sit over 24 hours on Christmas day waiting to deliver, and I emptied out in Reno. Hard lesson learned.

 

Man i dont work again till next year.

 

There's something oddly satisfying about getting from Santa Rosa NM all the way to La Grande OR, and still have between a Quarter and an 8th of a tank left.

 

2018 starting off just like 2017 get here early drop and hook no preplan, no load today until tomorrow at 1500 in Northern Washington opposite of where all the cheap fuel is at and instead of wallula or Richland. Empty trailer I pick up from Tyson...dirty.

Oh it gets better a twt and a Gardner Trucking driver decided that they didn't want to park their trailers somewhere else and dump them right in the middle of the turnaround making it impossible to do a U-turn in the back.

The guards don't give a flying #### either that the back area has no parking and they're continuing to send trucks back there...

 

I missed the fsc and national average yesterday. Did anyone catch it?

 

I don't think it was sent with it being a holiday.
