Well I'm shut down for weather on I-20 in Texas... Snow, ice, wind, other than that it's a pretty nice day... I guess I'll go to bed now and see if I can drive tonight.

It was some gnarly driving from Sweetwater to Ranger Texas this morning on I-20. One 5 Mile Stretch must have had 30 wrecks in it.
Cleared up as soon as I went down that 6% grade at Ranger... Just like somebody threw a switch.
Parks at the P Lots in Little Rock. Deliver at 0 600 in Lexington Tennessee tomorrow. Next load picks up at the same place and going to Lavonia Georgia... They're keeping me in the South but you sure wouldn't know it by the temperature. -
I missed you Rooster. I stopped at the TA in Hillsboro last night. I made it to the terminal in West Memphis to relay for a load that delivers tomorrow in Sikeston, MO.

My Crossville load got swapped for a Sikeston, MO load and then they were gonna route me back to Memphis to get my hours back right but instead Joplin pulls me for a Midwest load. They also swapped my dispatcher without telling me so now I’m really pissed.

Rooster.... Your I-10 fleet is icing over in Florida.... The Weather channels Jim Cantore is in Boston... So you know they're all going to die!!!!

Woke up last night around 23:30 to find my apu off and the temp at a balmy 48. Restarted it twice, it shut off after 40 minutes the first time, and lasted around 3 hrs the second time. My bunk heater (so glad it has this) only could get the temp up to 66, and that was with the big curtains closed. Dropped the truck at the yard around noon. It was next to go into the shop. They can find someone else to deliver the load an hour away at 18:00. Heading out to both sides of MO in the morning. Have to be out of the yard by 05:00. Back on Rooster time. At least I’ll sleep good tonight.

Did a local in Atlanta...then picked heading to Rocky Mount, NC. That pick up was like a NASCAR pitstop. As I pulled around the back a woman comes running up to my truck...hands me my bills, I sign, hand it back, and she hands me my set. Another guy walks up, says drop your trailer here and yours is in the driveway facing out. Bada Bing, Bada Boom....
Rooster feathers and a vapor trail!!paul_4lp, mitrucker and Cerberus XVI Thank this.
