Dan.S Thanks this.

Prime also hires applicants with a felony record.
If you apply with Prime, talk directly (and only directly) with Andrea Mueller - the head of the recruiting department. The regular recruiters will not know the actual answers...
Beyond that, like Chinatown said -keep dropping applications. If you’re unable to find work with a trucking company, having your Class A is a HUGE bonus for any construction company - and makes you instantly more valuable.
If you have any questions, shoot me a PM as well!SHOJim Thanks this. -
I watched this video a while back. Don't know anything about the company he's talking about but it might be something to look into

Thanks for posting. I will pass this on to some drivers with felonies looking for work. I have talked with people at unemployment offices and they said that it's not if you had a felony but how long ago you were convicted of that felony. There's always a waiting period. Especially if it is connected to drugs. I've also known at least two men that have gotten past that waiting. And now they are working successfully so there's always hope.

A great many companies hire felons if it is a nonviolent felony and not related to drugs. But companies often will not hire felons with a history of drugs or violence. According to an article at BackgroundSearch.com, one of the best places for felons to find jobs is through the JailToJobs website, which has an updated list of companies that hire felons. Just under the A's, companies hiring felons includes Adams Trucking, Allied Van Lines, American National Logistics, American Orange Trucking, Anderson Trucking Services, Atlas Van Lines, etc. So, JailToJobs might be worth a look. Best of luck.
