Omg after that you should be fine, one thing be careful which Agent you deal with, FYI stay away from the ATL people I don't deal with them, California agents are ok il, is ok and Chicago some is ok tx Agent some is ok FL the one with the 561 area code have some good rates some times just my opinion, I run on Central and will never give up that, it's the best way to make it here, if you don't have resent experience in flat you will need to work here for six months then take the class good luck driver

Everything thing as a flat bed, if you can get ramps get them, because you can then do as much as a flat with some loads, when you go to there securement class they will tell you everything you need to know

Welcome to the mad house lol, i hope you have the agent list, if not ask the person they assigned to you for it, next agent are going to call you night and day, which is good, most of them do not have there own loads so be very careful with that, make sure you down load the gem app, from there you can see agent with there loads posted on it, you don't must run there loads, but it will show what they are getting on there loads as far as money goes, you should ask them if you did not already done so for the access to the main load broad, Google Greatwide load broad, it will come up, ones you see it try to log in it, user name will be your driver id, password is your truck number, from there you will see even more loads, you can also use 360 load broad from there also, when you log in look for van loads, internal and external will be 360 load broad, ones you are able to see what is there, it will be your best friend, if you can down load some load like truckloads coyote use them a lot to post there loads, get 123 get loaded it will cost you, truckers edge is also not bad again it will cost, what ever you do stay away from the Atlanta Agent, they are bad news brown lol, they loads of mostly run is from coyote, ch Robinson, some tql not a lot of tql they don't like to pay good money, also make sure you get a rate con on every load, tell them to email it ASAP don't run with out it, just remember they work for you and not the other way around, we're I am getting good money some Midwest north east have good paying loads if you don't mind the snow, I gross over 200,000 Last year, I could have done better if I wanted ups to control my truck, I like to home ever feel like and that was not the case with ups, so yes in the last month two months, I could have gross over 11,000 a week, but I have things running how I want it and I am happy with it that way, just remember this is a business and run it that, go home when you feel like it you don't have to ask for permission to do so, remember you have your bills when it comes to your truck, so please be smart about it and you will do well here

PS if you have hazmat, there is a big demand for it and get tanker endorsement also, there is a Agent with hazmat loads from Greensboro NC to Waco TX 1100 miles a think for about 2400$ something like that you will see it on the broad, just an idea he have it all the time, and getting loads from Texas is not hard, I would not recommend you going to FL for less than 3.75 per mile, if you don't live there then stay up tap like Jacksonville, when there watermelon coming out sure what not you will need a vented van, there is good money in that

I once pulled for a broker who was on paper the same as the company that owned my truck, but seperate corperations for tax purposes. The interactions I had with that stupid broker was constantly flawed. As if I was 6 years old and had to have my hand held crossing the street.

I quit after two weeks. I prefer a dispatcher who will hand a envelope with the necessary bills and needful permits etc and tell me to be somewhere on a certain date. I'll be there. And no calls unless something comes up. And if I cannot do that run legally, he will be told and the bundle pushed back across the dispatch counter.

Lol no holding hands here, the first 90 days someone from corporate keeps on eye on you, no 120 days I believe, agent will call you offering to help you, just have to be smart, because at the end of the day 25% comes out and that doesn't work for us, I look at were it is going then lay out what I want, they are going to tell that is a good rate for them not me, keep in mind if take a load for 2$ per mile you lose 50 cents, so that is how I look at it
