I hear low miles do to limited preloads and mountainous Terrain that you have to navigate through they try to seduce you into saying you can get 3000 miles a week where the reality is 22 to 2500 at best

    1. Office employees are friendly and starting cpm is fair (If you're lucky to get 2500+ miles per week/but rare)
    2. Good number of delivery locations are tight and some are not designed for semi truck = stressful, high chance to hit standing objects (specially during 4am delivery)
    3. Horrible inbound dispatcher(s) totally disregards and don't care about your situation. Good number of drivers thinking about quit because dispatcher issue! *Inbound means load assignment receive after you left Denver terminal. Company has a plan to double the number of truck but without good dispatchers? Happy drivers = profitability & attracts more professional drivers.
    4. Frequent 4am delivery schedules. Most time you have to work with "off duty" or drive with PC mile mode to make a delivery (it happens 99% during your 10 hrs break).
    5. You should love snow, ice and driving slow mountain roads (low speed = less mileage)
    6. All trucks are Volvo made, shop mechanic said company choose Volvo truck because cheaper. Most of trucks are older VNL670 few newer models.
    7. Company pays your medical insurance with very high deductible.
    8. Signup bonus - you will receive most of bonus amount near 1yr anniversary (common sense).

This company could be much better if someone able to solved #3 issue. All other issues are manageable if you're an experienced driver but not the dispatchers issue.

I am currently employed with Quality Logistics and have found that 90% of what they promised - they delivered. The other ten percent can’t really be called a broken promise because it’s the unforeseen circumstances that make the 100% mark unattainable at this time of year. I’ve been here just 3 months now and let me say this, the owner cleaned house just before I arrived and made some dispatching changes and I honestly couldn’t be happier other than maybe getting home for longer resets but with the weather and the customer expectations being what they are- I can’t complain and neither should anyone else who holds customer service and the name of the company you work for in high regard. Not to mention personal pride and commitment. I’ve been a driver for 22 years and I’ve honestly never been treated better and can’t imagine working anywhere else at the moment. I have been getting 3k miles a week as advertised also. Just saying..... if you expect every promise made in life to be upheld... your probably gonna be disappointed often. But if you want a company that tells you that this is what you should hope to get barring any unforeseen circumstances, then this company is exactly as they advertise. If it’s within the realm of possibility they will bust their butt to get it done for ya. They have a great dispatch manager also. Not much for words but if it’s about getting you loads and getting customers satisfied- then he’s all about it. After all it’s a business and a business needs to be run with consistent professional behavior. If you get too much emotion involved it just clouds the main objective... for all to gain from the end result and have a company to retire with. Companies may not run without drivers as I saw stated earlier but how many companies run without customers? One has to be first and foremost and that’s the customer because without them and their repeat business there are no jobs for us to complain about. Just saying. This company has a lot more than 25 trucks and the pay has gone up since this thread started and the sign on and other benefits offered had me thinking it was too good to be true - BS! I was mistaken. They are doing and have done every single thing they said they would and then some. Their trucks are mostly new also. Haven’t seen anything older than 2017 myself.
