Our load info doesn't tell us over here either, but our workflow does.

Ill have to see if the workflow says anything different. I dont think it does. I thought i had a live unload at 11pm so i had to watch my clock and try and roll out at 2pm. Thankfully Matt called me about my next offer and wad like, oh yeah, that's a drop and bobtail to the yard. So I left asap and had to split an 8 to pick up my next load on time.

I did get layover pay for sitting in OH though those 2 days. Guess I cant complain too much.

The interface is alright. But typing on that thing sucks! I basically have to type everything twice with the amount of keystrokes and backspaces I have to use because the touch aspect of it is out to annoy me.

Crack open that dusty wallet and buy a wireless keyboard. You will smack yourself for not doing it sooner. Best $20 I ever spent...

Well... pull up a chair and I’ll tell you a story.... :)

The job I left Magnum for was a complete ####ing mess. The most disorganized company I have ever seen. After 10 days of driving, 2 breakdowns in the 379 Pete with 1.560,000 miles on her the office texted me and said they the way they were going to pay me changed. Instead of the pretty cool Cinderella job I could make more money at and have more hometime turned into a pumpkin... so I quit. Cut my losses quick! They did pay me and flew me home so there’s that.... at least they didn’t #### me...

I put in some apps. That’s when I discovered the incidences on my DAC. Missed out on a good job because of it....
But I did go on a few interviews...

I started a job at a local company within a couple weeks. Small outfit. 25 trucks hauling specialized temperature controlled pharmaceuticals. Home every weekend. Decent pay.

On my 4th day of work I slipped and fell down a set of stairs at a reciever in Atlanta GA. I dislocated my shoulder. Most painful injury I ever had. Spent the day in the emergency room after the $2002 ambulance ride.
The company had another driver in Atlanta so after I got released he picked me up and drove me back to N.C. where I have been recovering the last month.

1 week into my injury, the ELD Mandate went into effect. This company never had ELDs. Almost all of the drivers had NO experience with ELDs...
so I have been doing ‘light duty’ work in the office. Training the drivers how to use their ELDs, explaining rules, coaching them through the ‘big change’...I know more about ELDs, HOS, and the Omnitracs system then everyone else at the company combined... lol

I went for an MRI today and start Phyical Therapy hopefully by weeks end. It’s been a painful, grueling injury. But the Company has been awesome. They treat me like I am a long term employee, even got Christmas gifts from them. I can walk into the bosses office and sit down and have a conversation at any time. Everyone knows my first name. It’s truly like family. I have yet to meet a driver that wasn’t a nice person. No wonder there is very little turnover.

I’m really itching to get back on the road. This office stuff is boring!! Lol

I almost came back to Magnum after that first company.... but I’m glad I didn’t. It was time for a change...

That’s going to take forever at 63 mph. How long did they give you to get up there?
