Bought my first truck 3 years ago. It was a used 2010. I found a local bank who loaned me 75% of the price @5.5%.

It was quite a chore getting them to even go along with that. However, I kept it six months and flipped into a new truck that the same bank financed for me with underwriting by the SBA.

It can be done, but unless you have good credit and some cash down (in most instances) getting competitive finance rates are pretty tough.

I would imagine the 580 depends on unpaid debt or not. I would imagine anyways

We are buying a slightly used truck for 116k and have to come up with 33% down. Still getting 11% interest. That's through ENG. Volvo Financial wanted 30k down and would only do 4 years at 15%. I have 800+ credit score, my partner is around 680. First time is tough. Good luck.

How about 50k down on a 175,000 dollar truck. 1st time buyer. Is that realistic?
