Yep that’s it, I need oil change so bad on it, never had it’s first yet.. it’s past due.. hopefully I get back to nc soon. I’m in Oshkosh WI now and i don’t unload till Monday morning so I guess I will get a full day of layover pay. This will be first layover I’ve had with company so far. I gotta figure out how to send it in.

Write it down on a piece of paper and turn it in when you get back to High Point. It also sounds like you might be able to put some weather delay down as well for that 30MPH driving you did. When the roads get bad like that on a load with that much time on it I like to stop by sundown and not leave until the sun comes up. This time of year that's 12 hours or more. I will turn in 2-4 hours of weather delay. If you drove say 3 hours at 30 MPH I would turn in 1.5 hours of weather delay. I don't abuse it and am honest about it. Its never been questioned in 10 years. They would rather pay you to stop than risk the truck.

We have a weekly pay sheet that we fax in. My layover, load/unload delays, sleeper birth, breakdown, etc, are all put on there. I'm getting two full dispatch delays for this weekend sitting and waiting to load tomorrow.
