One other thing i've never done before is buy stock before a certain product comes out, like a new apple iphone or something, and after its released, it's a bit of a gamble but people still love apple iphone, I personally think they are expensive but theres a market for it. buy before then sell afterward , use robinhood phone app so there's no brokerage fee's for buying and selling. -
Physicians can cut some slack on making visits for prescription refills, just explain situation. I rarely make appointment as i know doc is in office at 6:30 am so I just pop in if I need anything. That's bonus $$$ for him -
In trucking you will likely see a thousand or two or three in a month really easy if you work for a company that has a minimum 1000 a week pay.
Trucking is not a industry in which you can work as little as possibe leaving the truck parked when you hit the jackpot and go home.
There will be many months your benefit will be reduced as necessary according to what you made the previous month. That of itself is not a bad thing. In fact, if you are able to get clean, stay clear and lift yourself by the bootstraps into not having that disability and back into full time work and stay there then you have done something special. Not everyone gets to do it.
You cannot be dishonest anywhere. If your employer detects fraud, you are gone. If SS hears about it or detects same, you are finished. I have worked before as a crew boss in a particular work with pay and hours well suited to my limitations. I am working on getting back into crew bossing again with that employer.
I see you posted with additional thoughts to stock. Right now the market is swelled with a sugar high on the tax cuts. Once that burns off and the reality of increasing defaults in Student loans, car loans, credit cards (Master card and visa total debt almost equals a trillion which is about 50 billion more than what SS took in last year from worker checks) and the failing bond market being downgraded as well as hundreds of stores being closed along with a unemployment rate that will start rising because this years imposed raises in pay causes employers to dispose of workers to maintain the costs at or less than what they were in 2017.
I can tell you are smart. That is a good thing. We just need to use that for something good. I don't feel very good with stocks right now. I lean towards bullion and other markets in commodities such as Grain etc. It's not that exciting. Maybe the power companies will be the shares to buy again considering that Bitcoin miners need ever increasing power and that cars and trucks will need chargers to feed them on the grid. So there is the power need which means income which leads to better share pricing. Then again if North Korea EMP's our Nation, all of that will be back into the Colonial Times within one hour. These computers and so forth will go bye bye as will all the cars, lights and so on. It would be a year or more to replace and rewind burnt dynamos and power sources. So that is why I am where I am.
Finally but not last, one of the reasons you need to try and fly, is that SS itself will hit a very hard wall roughly 2034. At that point ALL Benefits across the board, to anyone even the old will be cut between 23 to 30% hard mandatory without regard to anyone. You do not want to be depending on that when the bomb detonates on that cut. Maybe Cola each year in percentage will total about 32 to 40% so when the cuts come the checks will erase those gains between 2018 and 2035 and the resulting number should be right about what you are taking in today. Because of inflation and costs going up, you will not be able to live on that in terms of rent, food etc. Me? I dont expect to be alive in 2035. I am working on what there is of the bucket list and moving on when it's time. But not quite yet. -
So just up and moving to Portland within the last two years, after lowering your dosage on your own. I don't know the whole situation and if your back in Ohio already that sounds more like a manic episode move. Just because you don't have psychosis or are paranoid doesn't mean you aren't manic. So the 8 years without an episode? Can't be certain. Also there's not the pressure of having to keep a schedule. And an erratic sleep schedule. Which the erratic sleep schedule in itself is a major no no with anyone dealing with bipolar. It's a huge trigger. Just food for thought. If you can get a medical card maybe a local driving gig.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Redtwin Thanks this.

Very careful with CVS they started cutting back on certain prescriptions to only 7 days. I don't know fully the details to which. If I had to guess it would be acute post ER scripts limited to 7 days.
