Two central regional dispatch offices will be closing with most employees likely to be laid off.
Next announcement will be the grocery route planners at GR DC's will be shown the door soon.
Things are looking so bright at this company, drivers feel free to post more layoffs that will be obviously happening as the year goes on. Fortunately the powers at be haven't touched drivers yet but have created such a bad environment for them that they're leaving on their own leaving big gaps in coverage so more outside carrier bids can be accepted from Swift.

The way a lot of the Wal-Mart drivers operate now isn't much different than Swift anyhow, from an outsider the change really won't be noticeable

Sorry to say - Seems like the Walmart fleet is soon to be history. Last week 65 Sams Club’s closed with very little notice to employees.
