Actually, your solution to the problem is to have NO phone at all. See, then you don't need to sign the form. You can use the Qualcomm or the Peoplenet tablet (when you get them).

Oh...so in other words... Signing on to Walmart means you're not allowed to communicate with your friends and family.... Wow now I think I've seen it all

You don't have to work there. They have a phone policy. If you don't agree with it, you don't have to sign the form and not have a phone.............. or leave the job or don't take it in the first place. Many, many trucking companies have more restrictive phone policies than Walmart.

Admit to it or not, a phone is a HUGE distraction. It is a major cause of many accidents being it in the civilian driver or the professional class................ even hands free. Large companies try to mitigate exposure to lawsuits. Period. Get used to it. You don't like it, then work for tort reform.

Oh for goodness sake............... drama much. You can talk all you want when sitting at docks, sitting at the DC, sitting at vendors, on your 30 minute break and when you are in the sleeper. My husband and I talk a lot in a given day................. but not while he is driving. If you can't drive down the road without your phone stuck to your face for less than 10 minutes in 60 minutes, then maybe you should think about a different profession.

Or, maybe do as some on here recommend............ and get yourself a burner phone and risk being fired when camera's are in or if you get in an accident.

BTW, I wish you the best of luck in your internet lawyer business.

I like when someone quotes someone, and then says" so, in other words". ?? Your moderator buddy does the same thing? Let me break this down.......oh, the so in other words, is you putting words in someones mouth. Where does it make sense to you, to quote someone, and then tell everyone your idea of what they meant? Enlighten me wise one.

Before you’re corrected by the kool aid drinkers, Walmart drivers get a whopping 60 minutes a day in 10 minute intervals to talk with their family while on the driveline.

Screw Wal-Mart. If any company ever needed to be organized, it's that one. Go into any Walmart and say something PRO-union. It's flipping hilarious. Had a store manager follow me around the whole time I was there. Asked if there was a problem... He fumbled for words. Hell, I stayed a few extra hours I was having so much fun. in the end they had about 4 managers all following me around. I finally bought a packet of chewing gum and left. Wonder how much that cost them in lost productivity? Hahahaa!
