What makes Landstarve worth the 35%/27% they take? Plus you're limited to what they offer you, can't run the open market if you wanted to.

It's not worth it imo.
Look at the drivers who left Schneider and got their own authority, they are making a killing.
I'm running the open market myself $4- $5+ a mile no problem. Not my own authority but close enough.

 

Yeah, well, personally, I hate change, but frankly SNI isn't giving me a whole lot of reasons to stay and the LS folks are laughing at us.
Whipper and some other folks used to laugh at the guys doing 98 cpm + fsc, and I'm ashamed to say there's been more than once that was better than I was doing.
So, time to move on. No hard feelings at all. Schneider is running a business and so am I. And we both need to do what's in our respective best interests.

 

Leaving sni was the best move I've made...i make more and actually run less miles...as matter of fact...my numbers for 2015 since i left sni...just under by a few hundred $ of 100k in 7mos but in that 7 mos...i took 45days off...

 

Well boys, like someone posted a few weeks ago, perhaps we should start a new "Ex Choice" drivers page so we can compare notes without having to jump about. Just an idea.
Maybe I'll do it.

I forgot about Rat's thread. But maybe it would be cleaner if it were mostly contractors. Dunno.

 

I don't think an ex choice thread is bad idea...i think it could be useful for guys looking for other options to go to with their trucks..

 

That's what I was thinking. Not hatein on the company guys, but Whipper has his thing, Capt'n Dave has his thing, looks like Sadwar might be getting a new gig, Red October had a gig with Prime, but it went bad, and I might be going with LS....it would be good (and perhaps profitable) to compare notes.
