Just pulled the.weather radar up on my tablet and it's predicting snow until 2200 tonight. The yard, which was mostly slush has frozen over hard and it's still snowing pretty hard here. Road conditions towards Columbus would have to dramatically improve to qualify as horrendous. Been camped out here since Friday and I'm going a little stir crazy. Sure hope I get to move tomorrow, even if it does mean I'm heading for Newark.

    More later...

You could always build an igloo. That's what we did today. We even built a throne made out of snow inside of it.

Hope you guys are alright out there in that nasty stuff. I made it back home after a 2 dropper this morning up in the Portland area. The weather in the PNW where I live has been pretty balmy this year.

Dropped my trailer off to have an inner wheel seal replaced that was weeping a little, nothing on the brake pad though.

Also, finally got my truck into the shop for some periodic maintenance work. Including a valve adjustment, preventive stuff related to the emissions system, etc.

Like they used to say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

Probably going to take the rest of the month off. You ask WHY? Because I can ;-)

Man, just cant break free from this weather. Been in and out of various types of frozen precipitation all day. Got to Columbia, Indiana and the freezing rain just vot to be to much. Found a spot to park, slapped a coat of paint on it and called it done. Try again tomorrow.

    More later...

    Vic Firth Thanks this.
