If you like tomatoes, you could get either cherry or grape tomatoes. Blueberries are good too, but can be expensive.

Those things are poisonous, lol.
Blueberries though, will help bind up that bad truckstop food and prevent it from shooting out the other end so fast. -

I ate a lot of baby carrots on the road, and I also enjoyed bananas, though I made sure I had an open litter bag for the peel.
Sometimes, before leaving home, I'd freeze a baggie of black cherries. Oy, like sweet, sweet ice cream... but better for ya. Great for when it's hot out.travelfraggle Thanks this. -
Great way to start, travelfraggle! When I take road trips, I will peel and section oranges and grapefruit... clean some veggies and slice into bite size pieces. Bananas travel well, too. Mangos and kiwis are generally satisfying, a good buy, and don't take long to prepare. Another good snack that travels well is celery with peanut butter in it.
I toss everything in a cooler and nibble from it whenever I get a hankerin' for a snack.travelfraggle Thanks this. -
Thanks, great ideas keep em commin!!

Well, Iam not much of a fruit eater but veggies are ok.
I like celery sticks, carrots, Broccoli, etc...
I also like unsalted snacks, like cashews, crackers, really any type of peanut is good to snack on if you get the unsalted kind. -
Apples are good too. Peaches, in season, but they can be a little messy.
Slim Jims are better.
Chocolate chip cookies are BEST BY FAR! -
