    I could say that if you hadn't dropped so much money on an overpriced ELD, perhaps the price of the replacement part wouldn't be so difficult to swallow...but I won't.:D

    Do the top pieces of the fittings pop off with a screw driver or twist off?

    You can call it what you want but most any grease will work.
    If your really concerned about the lube effecting the o-rings you could use ky jelly its hypoallergenic and has been tested for many years on many rubbers in America without fail.
    As far as the o-ring choice I have been using the same ones without a problem for about a year now.

    Heck took half the dash apart today hoping to finally fix this issue but man, can't get the darn thing out. Its hell trying to get my hands in the back of it to even disconnect the air lines... decided to wait till I have a weekend to mess with it... Kind of disappointed but what can I do? LOL

    They should be push fittings, push on the line and pull forward on the fitting...

    Ya I know. Trying to get my hands in to do anything is challenging very much so... going to tackle it another day.
