I would encourage drivers to apply and get hired in the permian basin now. All this talk of holding out till companies start paying what they use too won't work.

Well it's like this. Oil is currently here. IMG_20180123_064839.png

And companies aren't able to pay the rates they once did. But it's high enough to where production is up. So if one were to gain the job now. That driver would be in place for higher pay once oil hits the $70 range in March or April.

There area is flooded with Cubans that replaced the high payed hands when everything went down. But the lower wage workers could be a problem. Because as long as there are cheap workers some companies may be slow in. Offering raises. However that's mostly the vacuum tanker companies.

Your welcome, because that type of worker does exist in the permian. And you tend to hear about them wrecking the company pick up, falling asleep on the job, late for work, failing on the spot drug tests, etc.

I was in the oilfield before the boom, through the bust, and I'm still here. I disagree with your assessment and then you try to give me a story I don't care about. Please, stay in Texas.

What about Schlumberger Coil Tubing up in North Dakota? I'll work Frac again too as long as it's not cudd. The job I enjoyed most was Frac fueling, during the boom. Trucking companies dont really offer housing per diem or flight travel so I'm looking into something else.

Cudd shut their coil tube down a year ago around here. It appears that they are parting out their land rigs.

Ya you just deliver in your little piece of hell.
My piece has a time on each load so they don't have to pay any waiting time. Offshore is turning into a different animal.
