The company I run for has only four high mount units. we all seem to have the same consistent gripe list. overhang and Bridge spread see pic) are the big ones and Frozen electric over hydraulic systems. Are these pretty standard problems industry-wide with high mount units? And what and are guys doing for Solutions

The only guys who don't fight length and weight are running cars and small suvs. It's a matter of physics, you can't have that shallow kingpin depth and long tail without the rear taking too much load. Frozen electric/hydraulic is a maintenance issue, not checking for / draining off water.
Jml304, BigBob410, tech10171968 and 3 others Thank this. -
Run the heaviest crap in the front, whenever possible nose on first and maybe try running transmission fluid instead of hydraulic oil
yb226 and Mr&MrsPete Thank this. -

I always run the heavy units on the nose and with engine forward... but I've been getting a TON of big body suv's and quad cab trucks.... in order to be under 14 ft I've got to back that first suv on top...
