G&P Trucking??

Yea they have a option there older trucks but I think it's only a 12 month term and you own the truck.. Not really sure of the terms that's why I was asking on here.. They pull cans out of Norfolk va

 

What are some similar companies like Gp trucking that rookies can apply for. This looking for advice of some small companies that take students besides Gp, cargo transporters without the cameras in the truck.

 

Any one have any news on G&P trucking orientation and what there trucks are....?

 

First company I worked for. Took me straight out of school. Pros they were close to my house (columbia, sc) based. .38 pre mile with sliding scale based on miles. Cons horrible training. I had 3 in a 4 week spand. The last was some douche named jason brown. Guy wanted me to double clutch, when I was floating with the trainers before him just fine. Told me "push ppl and 1 cop car, into the bushes", while I exhibited defensive driving skills. He would was very petty. As far as counting the seconds it took for me to look in the passenger side mirror. They also have toward and rear facing cameras, with lane search on every truck. If you are localdispatch will you leave you sitting for hoursjust so you do 14 hours because they get abonus. If you have am accident they haveyou pay for the truck. This company is notworth it. If they lose their Lowe's acct they are done. Don't go!!

 

2 guys on youtube work there, Trucker Jim and Red viking trucker. both like it and have vids for a couple years about G&P.
