    If you were on paper you cheated, period. I know some will get mad at me saying that soo 99.9% okay :rolleyes:
    On paper you had to make choices everyday with your logs to either cause yourself to lose money and/or fail the customer vs lie.
    Now that drivers can't lie like they use to guess what now the customers are losing money and having to deal with more service issues.

    Have called all this before hand, it was that clearly coming.
    Now it's here and now no longer can they blame holidays or bad weather, it has finally gotten out full force about the impact of ELDs.
    I welcome it, big thank you from me! Loving the higher rates! :D

    Just wait till spring time when freight really picks up and the hard mandate kicks in where trucks will be put out of service without an ELDS.
    Oh buddy that's when the real fun begins, we're just getting warmed up now :biggrin_25525:

    How long til we're forced to log our on duty 100% according to fmcsa?

    I only asked because you said people on paper logs cheated, but so do those that have been on ELD.

    The only difference...now some co's have folks in the office tamper with logs...

    No what I'm saying as drivers we don't always log 100 % to the letter of the law even with ELD.

    Soon. An eld (as opposed to the aobr) is going to record all movement - no more logging 20 minutes on duty to drop and hook. That 15 minutes waiting in line is going to get logged on duty as well.

    Remember when the qc changed the drive line trigger? I used to be able to do 3200 a week easily within the 70, now I'm pushing hard up against it.

    saying drivers are cheating on their logs reminds me of nascar, they make up rules and then decide that you are cheating, why? because someone figured out how to beat the other guy, megas didn't want owner ops competing with them so they buy congress to pass laws and make it look like you are cheating, then they brainwash drivers into believing its all for safety to keep outlaw truckers off the road, and drivers fall for it everyday. if a nascar driver cheats today it looks as though he is unethical, if that were the case then richard petty cheated every race according to the rules of today, the hos are the same way, complete rubbish. if you believe its all to keep some outlaw driver from driving coast to coast nonstop then your the biggest kind of fool there is.
