    Danny Herman Trucking
    400 trucks
    1200 trailers.
    I have great dispatchers,rarely sit,most runs 1500-2000 miles.
Great customers, load times are usually quick, and you usually only have 4 pickups or drops each week.
Never have to search out an Mt.
Great safety score, rarely get pulled into a scale house.
    Great lanes mostly below I40.
    Everyone treats you like family.
Cannot say enough good things about them..except thanks!

    The guy I pull for.
He and his family welcomed me in like family from day one.
All owner/op spec new equipment, most equipment is brand new.
Vans, hoppers, tank, and a dump trailer.
Paid percentage or mileage drivers choice.
    We don’t haul cheap freight.
No elogs anything that would have had to have an elog is now parked.
Plenty of work we don’t sit.

If you don’t know how to run, log, or if need your hand held this ain’t the place for you...We aren’t hiring at the moment anyway.

I wish it didn’t take 25 years of long haul to finally find a guy like this....

Mine.......4 trucks 10 trailers all O/O spec'd W-9's that will run the speed limit. In house hauler for a major feed producer in the SW. 90% drop & hook. Home every night, off most weekends. Might have to spend a night in the truck every couple weeks. Company credit card for fuel/repairs. Paid percentage. We aren't hiring either, although we did recently hire a new one. Most outfits like this don't advertise(they don't have to)

I'll submit mine, three trucks six flats and a van. Running building material from SW Ohio to Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. Two of the three are home daily. No brokered freight all direct customers, drop and hook, percentage pay, and fuel card. Newer equipment, ELD's, and I run it legal. I take a great pride in my operation treat my drivers with the respect we all deserve. I'll buy a truck for a driver if I like them, that's how I grow my company. I've got the freight, finding drivers I like is the hard part.

When you only have 10 trucks, your reputation is all you have, and each driver you lose is 10% of your fleet. Small companies work harder to please their drivers, and they are more quick to do repairs to keep the trucks moving. It's easier for them to get the driver to a wedding or a child's birthday if they only have a few drivers to find loads for.
