Was just wondering how many miles do you guys average per day ? Solo or Team drivers. I know it can very depending on how much city driving you have to do and so on but what's your average ? Saturday night I put 723 miles on the dial. I have also driven from Tracy California to Kingman Arizona, had an hour and 10 minutes left. One of my best was Rialto California to the 85 mile marker in New Mexico. I currently hold our truck record at 766.1 miles, I know I'm a freak, but would rather drive than be in the bunk, which is more than I can say for some team drivers.

About 900 on a good 24 hour log book day. Driving 13 hours out of 24 hour period. With a 70mph + truck.

I like to stay under 250 a day. A good day is under 70. Work smarter, not harder. ;-)

only 766? That's pretty good actually.

If I had a 85 mph plus truck through say Texas at that limit I might try your record maybe.

My favorite kinds of records are two, fuel endurance on 320+ gallons to empty tanks is about 1650ish, the problem with that was no fueling was allowed in CA so it became a Arizona from NW problem. I got more fuel off a 50s era pump with about 1/4 inch of fuel in the bottom of tanks by stick in AZ.

The other kind is straight through. overnight is Lancaster PA to Idabel OK with Govt Aluminum which had to be there 8 sharp monday without fail. Thats about 1540.

If you're having to drive miles to make a paycheck, you're at the wrong company.

Really, I think 99 percent of companies pay by the mile, hourly pay involves driving junk often not road worthy at all. I don't drive lots of miles for the money, I do it because I can. I also get a paid weeks vacation every 3 months, to rest up from all those miles driven. It has to due with endurance, most drivers don't have it.
