Rolling 78.9k with the trailer axles all the way forward on a coca cola load. Scaled out with 5/8 on the fuel gauge, 70-90 miles from the Indiana weigh station. 34600 on drives at the cat scale in hole 3, slid into hole 1.
Got called into the weigh station, sign said park. I grab all my stuff and head in, told to scale out. I drive around and stop on the scale and it reads 34000 even on the drives.... given the green light to proceed on.
Close one.

I seem to recall all the states we run giving the exception up to 400 lbs or something but it's possible it's up to the discretion of the officer or I'm completely remembering wrong. Anyway, glad I could help.

Last week Wednesday picked up a load in Shelby, took That to MI, then down to Napoleon...circle around Campbell’s looking for trailer 1153054 and the only Magnum I see is 1153033...go to guard shack building....get told to circle around again...come back they tell me to write seal number down.
I take the seal number back and of course the trailer was wrong on the bol’s....go to fire up the reefer on the trailer..it’s dead....took it too the old TA shop, and was told two hours....I wait and the manager bumbles on after two hours I drive off....didn’t realize the Petro shop was there...go over to Petro and out in 1 hour.
Shannon calls me with my next 2 loads after dropping at Target in Fridley, had to go back to GA then Shelby then back to MI then home for a few days.Ray Strack Thanks this. -
NC doesn’t have one but your allowed 38k on a tandem. FL your allowed 40k.

Well thats good to know now! This load was scheduled to be picked up on the 5th, dropped on the 7th. I didnt even notice the dates until shannon and chad called me to give me outbound options. The load I was under prior dropped the 6th at 8am. Wanted to make sure I wouldnt get a service failure for it.

Turns out I have to go through the whole ball of wax again. Just finished filling out my application at least most of it was filled out from the first time I worked there only had to add the company I am leaving and magnum.
Oh well. Orientation is easy if boring money and they pay mileage for the drive down and back to coon rapids so I cant really complain. Not like I haven't made that drive a few hundred times before haha.Xeres63 Thanks this. -
Welcome back. Do you have to work up the board again as well? That would suck.
