    It may have been said. No more 34 hour resets. If you do 10 hour break you can do the normal 11 hour drive time 14 on duty time. Whoever thought of the 34 hour reset should be shot for wasting peoples time. I'm not out here to sit for a 10 hour break then have an extra 24 hours sitting because some pencil pusher who has never driven a truck decides I'm too fatigued.

    What I meant everytime you take a 10 hour break you have a fresh 11 hour drive time and 14 hour on duty time. Basically no more 60/70 hour rules.

    That will require a Congressional Legislative Act, to make Law abolishing the 60-70 hour rule in 7 or 8 days.

    Then the President will have to sign. Once that is done then it goes to FMCSA to implement the abolishing of this rule.

    I say this. I have worked like a DOG run into the ground 150+ hours dealing with that stupid truck too many years. The problem with that is if the wheels aint turning you aint making money. And the Overtime exemption for the entire industry will have to be abolished. Pay will need to restructure and increase so that the bottom feeding BS of 30 a mile gets stopped. There are millions who don't even know what 30 freaking cents is. Until they try to raise a family on it.

    We were running paper for decades. We got away with murder. The ELD etc all that crap was implemented within the 15 years previous and now is in those trucks. Who do we blame? Me, you and you and youse over there. All of you. Yes some of you ran legal. YAY but too many abuses went on from dispatch, shippers, brokers and on and on and on. The Law man standing at his precious two acre scale is not going to be enforcing 100,000 truck law breakers per hour.

    Enter the pre-pass transponders for scalehouses, tie all scale houses together nationally BOOM he can do it by computer if necessary millions of enforcement against trucks.

    The more we scream and rattle the cage, the adults will make #### sure that we are silenced, stuck with milk until we have to sleep and #### the rest of the crap out because we don't know any better yet.

    The problem is not with the 34 Hour Reset. It is with the 70 hour rule which makes 34 rule necessary for some situations.

    Allow more sleeper berth hours so we can sleep more without running out of 14 hour clock. Require four wheelers to take drivers refresher courses every four years to learn to keep in the slow lane and use the pass lane to pass. Also to maintain the speed limit or higher.

    Make construction crews work daily on the roads until the project is complete. They shut down the lanes and work on the road one day per month for years. Allow semis to park on all shoulders that are not busy and have the space to do so.
