    It's an old east coast thing thing from the cornhusker days ...was about 8 of us there that considered it beneath us to take a load that didn't deliver east of the Delaware river and the uglier the better ...paid well .

    Actually in some busy times some of us would sit at the Capri moter lodge in little ferry nj all week and shuttle trailers in and out of NYC and North jersey for those that wouldn't do it .
    Shag fees and NYC delivery and pick up charges paid handsomely with few miles on the truck and fuel .
    Grab a load back to Omaha on Friday .

    Enjoy the warm weather!

    I should change my username to Broke Down 59, engine was overheating in Utah on I-70, right at the steepest and longest grade. Made it uphill on the shoulder in second gear, limped the truck 50 miles to Green River with many stops for cooling down. Tow truck picked me up and now sitting at the gate at Volvo Fruita CO, tomorrow we will see what's wrong. No leaks, just getting hot.
    I love that short before my home time :mad:
