CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

u guys get there Thursday they put u in the motel together. They never split u then fri morning they call u over to CFI headquarters to fill out paperwork and contracts and then sat u go over to the college to get ur dorm for the next 30 days by then u know what CFI expect and what to expect in school by then. If sumthing changes let me know so I can be prepared for it we getting ready to come over there soon

 

Congrats on your test both of you... In Joplin there's a shuttle bus that runs from roughly 7 in the morning till 8 at night makes a loop from the hotel's to the headquarters to the Walmart in the bunch of the restaurants along the main drag.

At Crowder, there is no shuttle but they'll probably be somebody in your dorm with a car that will take you back to the driving school from the dormitories and so forth.

I've only seen the guys dorm and that was a living room with a TV the bedrooms didn't have it. I don't know about the dorm rooms for couples.... I think it's a heart-shaped bed so you can celebrate Valentine's Day! Yikes!!!!

 

Travel plaza, I 476, Allentown, PA. Went to pick up my Laredo load... double stack trailer is no good. I missed it in the load notes... shame on the world's most respected trucker. Went to topton for replacement... will go back in the morning.

 

Home. Stuck here until the Dr says I can go back to work. Will get more info Tuesday afternoon. May have to resort to selling myself on the corner.

Sorry for the late reply guys! Wife and I made the long and grueling Greyhound ride! First time rider and I gotta say I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy haha. Horrid bus ride aside we are here in Joplin!! Settling into the La Quinta for the night love it!

Although we did have a change of plans! We were supposed to go to Crowder college! But since the dorms at Crowder were all booked our only options were to stay in separate male and female dorms or go to Trucking Dynasty in Springfield, And have our own hotel room it was a no brainer for us, so Hollywood that might be something that you should be aware of when your headed up here. We had no idea about the change of plans until we pulled into the Greyhound station in Joplin.

Anyway! So going to CFI HQ as planned tomorrow morning, then taking a shuttle to Springfield after, where they are gonna set us up in a Days Inn for our month of schooling! Will update ya'll when I find out more!
