Small terminal so even the bottom guy makes double runs to coon rapids each night and has a set start time. I was the number 2 linehaul guy when I left. Our number 1 just got on with old dominion and will be done next week so the guy that was running third will be the new number one and i will be in the number 2 slot again.

Question for any Magnumites in a 2018 truck, OR, if you have a company camera installed... Anyone having trouble with their bluetooth phone headset? I had problems with my Blue Parrot and I broke it banging on it thinking it had a short. Bought a "refurbished" Plantronics earpiece and had problems with it. Now, having problems with a third, different brand headset. The only thing I can figure is interference from the new cameras, or something else in a 2018 truck. I didn't have these problems until I got this truck, and am just trying to figure it out.

All of the ltl trucks have the cameras. Never had an issue with my plantronics Bluetooth. Ive had two of them. This one is going on about a year old, and my old one I had for a couple years before I lost it off my ear and ran it over with a front loader. I have had issues with just about every refurbished Bluetooth headset I have ever had though and now spend the few dollars extra to get a new one.
I also haven't had the greatest luck in general over the years with the blue parrot stuff. When they work they work awesome but it seems like I rarely get more than a few months out of them before I start having issues.txtodd Thanks this. -

When is idling ok? This bunk heater does ok for me down to about 30 degrees but lower than that I wake up to a cold, drafty truck. Its -4 right now and the bunk heater is blowing hot but not adequate.

What help my Pete some was buying some of that silver roll insulation from Lowe's (looks like a a vehicle window shade) and cut it to fit all the glass areas. Plus I covered the sleeper windows with it from the inside. Then I took the sidebox door covers off and put some inside. As much insulation as Pete put into those trucks, they missed putting any in those lightweight sidebox doors. I also made a flap for the heater vent so that I could redirect the airflow in more than 1 direction. I never understood why airtronics made the outlet vent at a fixed angle.

Can also have the shop look at it. If your cold, idle, specially if your noy performance pay yet. I idle when it gets like neg 4 or more. I like the bunk heater more than the idle in my truck.
