No load today. At home until tomorrow night. Will work my bees tomorrow, then grab a load of oil late for an early morning delivery near Charlotte on Friday.
-
Things changed. Now I'm picking up a load and running up to PA. It delvers Friday, so I'll spend the night just north of Richmond.
I'll be running 95, so leaving out early enough to avoid the DC area rush is important. Hate that area, along with plenty of others.
It's a system let ad so I'll be planning my return date tonight with the family. -
A little over half unloaded. Hope this stuff gets off so that I have enough time to get to Pedricktown. Will drop the tank and run to a Flying J for the night.
Will be getting a load of acid and running it down to GA for delivery on Monday -
In GA unloading the acid now. The place is majorly stacked up with trucks so it took over 2 hours to get me to a rack. They are totting me off too, so a few hours of unload delay is in order.
The drive down had one sucky evening dealing with the snow and traffic the first night. The next day was great as I did a Sunny Sunday drive thru the southeast. I even stopped at the 48 rest area in, NC. (Fayetteville) My wife came over and brought me a homemade meal. I spent just over 2 hours on the break, so I'm good for a while.
Tomorrow I pick up at Stepan in Winder and run a load up to St Peters, MO for delivery on Wednesday morning.
I'll probably spend the night in Madison again if I can drop the tank near Stepan in the morning.
Turns out I'm tank washed to Morrow, so we'll see how my clock looks when I finally get there. I've been at my delivery for over 4 hours. About 3/4s unloaded now.Last edited: Feb 19, 2018

Broke down just west of Nashville. Truck is running fine, but something happened in the front end. Can't figure it out and the mechanic at the shop asked about the things I've already rechecked. Roadside assistance is on the way.
First time since Iraq that I had the tremors after an incident. Friggin truck shook so violently I though I was going to roll. Kind of feel bad for Erica, Memphis dispatch.
I was on the phone with her discussing the next load after telling her I was experiencing an issue that needed to be checked out by a mechanic. The truck had done some shaking earlier in Atlanta and I could find anything. It was rolling good until just after Nashville.
I said some choice words as I struggled to keep it under control.
Been all under this thing and still can't find anything. Roadside ETA is another 90 minutes. -
Good luck but it might be difficult finding the problem without taking weight off the front end.
Safe travels.Mortarmaggot Thanks this. -

Still in Nashville and still on the load. Hopefully the truck will be up tomorrow so I can get rolling the money belt. Hotels are boring as heck.

Any idea of what happened?
