Absolutely, I'm just having trouble seeing how moving a van load 200 miles costs so much. I see your point about the labor (but i would also question how much those laborers actually get paid...) and the expertise needed to handle HHG. I'm getting some quotes from movers so I'll see just how far out of touch I was with my 4k.
I have a "load" I need moved but I'm not a broker, where can I post it?

Call your local 2 men and a truck type moving place. They hire out day labor to pack/unpack by the hour. At least they do around here.
