Your spot on!! Guessing that’s part of the 42 million they will save. Watch this year they will take away our layover pay. Picking the fleet apart little by little.

I saw him help a driver that by policy should have been terminated. Talking in a store lot on his phone hit an old light pole and destroyed the drivers side of a truck.
But because he was honest, Bailey helped him appeal the term to Bentonville. Yeah the gh y is a sneeze from step 3(well not now it has been two years) but he got his job back. I would have never let him back. So Dennis was nicer than me in some aspects. I get the driver was honest and owned his mistake.
He also felt talking on the phone was more important than driving his truck. -
Well...now that walmart knows they can take this much from drivers...get ready for the next round...they'll take even more...

They are already working on a new "streamlined" pay system...supposed to be more efficient in documenting what you do for your company

Takes to long to check green bar against the trip sheet. I have to wait until the end of lay period. The new system I can just check my trips every couple days. -
I will say he is a very good accident investigator. And relentless in getting people that damage our stuff (vendors, outside carriers and such) to own up and pay for the repairs. And he would 110% back a driver that shut down for any reason. Sick, weather, equipment.......if the driver said it is parked it was parked. -
foggy Thanks this.
