Truck stops with tight parking

I can't believe only one vote for the Charlotte Pilot. Worst truck stop design I've ever seen. If anyones fueling on the last 2 or so aisles then about 25% of anyone parked isnt getting out. If anyones pulled forward and gone inside raise that to 60%. And since the place is always busy (as in lines on the road waiting to pull in) I often wondered how long it took to get out of there. I live in Charlotte so was only ever there to use the Transflo. Place was always a mess.

 

The only thing that should be tight is a good woman. lol

 

That truck in your avatar looks familiar were you running the Texas panhandle or the 54 corridor in the last two weeks ? Or maybe down around Hereford ?
I’ve been hauling feed into those areas pretty heavy lately thought maybe I saw you.

 

Not in the last two weeks. Was around that area about two months ago. There is another driver that has a truck similar to mine. My new one is sold black.

 

The Pilot in Sulpher Springs, TX hasn't made the list yet?? LoL that place is complete chaos as the solar powered drivers rush in before dark!

 

Flying J, Martinsburg WV. A nightmare for a 53', almost impossible for a heavy coil on a spread axle. Ya need three empty spots just to get into one, and leaving in the early morning is horrendous!

How about truck stops with NO parking? Little America, Cheyenne Wyoming (AmBest) It seems to be an ABF terminal and also seems to be unwelcoming of others to park. Although it seems they're happy to sell anyone fuel, but move along when you're done.

Am I missing something? They have nice enough showers from what I hear but I guess they're for ABF drivers?

 

North of Winchester, VA. Just by the border. Yeah. Whoever designed that parking lot should be dragged out by his ankles and beaten severely.
