Worst receiver ever? Any HEB warehouse. 4-6 hours to unload and they leave the dunnage in your trailer.

If you pull a box of any sort, whether a van or a reefer, better get well acquainted with being treated like a Red Headed StepChild. LOL

My company doesn't allow that. They'll have me pull the load out of the door, drop it in our drop yard, and wait for the receiver to send a rep to our admin office in person to beg for it to be delivered before they allow one of their drivers to be mistreated or held beyond their HOS limitations.

If your company doesn't do the same, you're working for the wrong company. And your company is part of the reason that drivers are treated the way they are.

Kick it off in the parking lot.

They bought that dunnage with the load.

I've been to CA, but not in an official CDL capacity.

My company just bought a company based in Washington, so CA may soon experience their wrath. They don't play games, and they stand behind their drivers.
