Morehouse/FCC

Got unloaded this morning and pulled out of the dock to find out I have no right signal on the trailer.
...and of course its snowing like hell ......trailer end of my lite cord is wore out .
Took rest off the day off to fix it and reload in Newark nj tmw..

 

Yeah that's the down side of drop and hook with a few older trailers in the mix .
Sockets and plugs wear out .

 

True ...as I had problems with this trailer right from when I picked it up ..and its an older trailer .
Had a storm to stay ahead of so I shimed the plug and boogied.
It got me out here but the shims had to go .
Trailer really needs a new socket but new plug was less hassle where I am .

 

Long story short easier for me to put a new plug on which it needed anyway and get soaking wet in the snow than screw around all day with a shop for a trailer socket when I had other things to do ....ill let the trailer shop know about it when I get close to home .

 

Not a word pal since new years eve .

 

I agree ! Ill send him a text tonight ...haven't wanted to bug him .
