If your assuming that the cheap Chinese stuff is just as good as a quality made product then you defenately need to take out your adding machine. Your rebuttal holds no water. 80% of my time is off road in clay sand, gravel, rocks, blast rock, mine rock pit run and 24" minus and i still run a quality product because the Chinese products over time always cost more. You get what you pay for goes for tires just like any other part going on the truck

Where do I get my 'Made in America' clothes? My truly 'Made in America' pick-up? How about this one: 'Made in America' replacement truck parts?

Here is your chance to put your money where your mouth is! I'll even go 50/50 with you. Buy me 4 American made tires and I'll buy 4 of the same. Then I will document the results with a 3rd party verifying what I document. I do use Crossfires to keep tabs on the air pressure in my tires.

That's not fair. My 4 American quality tires will cost ad much as 8 Chinese ones.

Now you are backing down. Thought so. Your math on Chinese vs US is falling down too. Not all Chinese tires are the same. Hence some cost more than others. Some are way better quality than others. On another note of China vs the US: some of the great American tire companies are backing Chinese manufacturing. So go ahead and back your American made while they hide their money offshore and back other world countries. I even offered to buy 4 "American" tires and you won't put your money where your mouth is. Moderators There is no hatred or vindictiveness in my thoughts. Guys whoop, holler and blow smoke but when their stones are put to the fire POOF they're gone. I proved my point and gave them something to think about the wonderful American companies so I am done here.

I have had the kellly kda's. they last long, you can pull big & long road debris out of the tires & still not have a puncture to go all the way thru, cause the tread depth is deep. the ride I had was horrible.bounce, bounce, bounce. chinese... some wear o.k. some do not. 1 set of 8 drives b.s. st230 wore great, rode great but at almost 4 grand, I decided to try chinese.

got 8 installed for under 2 grand. they had to be balanced. so far they are wearing perfect, but I GOT 85LBS in each tire per tire mfr websight. tires are annaite or something like that. on the next set I may try the b.s. 726 e.l. r.r. is o.k. if you put the savings away. I would rather have to buy another set later than have better r.r. the thing with foreign tires is you do not know which ones are good, real good or not worth it.
the price is making a lot of o/o try the chinese type.I have not regretted saving over 2 grand on my chinese tires. over 100,000 miles & like I say tread depth is exact the same across every tire. this is though due to my air pressure. I used to go 100 or 105 p.s.i. and always wore down the center of tire long before the the rest of tire. with the 85 p.s.i. wearing perfect.

A kelly d.d.a. with 85 lbs might have rode smoother that when I had them at 105. as for me now. I want tires to last long without irregular wear & I am not considering r.r. this time.

Now if you cant afford your own good quality tires maybe its time to start thinking about throwing in the towel. The money is were my mouth is I'm not the one wearing Chinese and backing Chinese and telling everyone that Chinese is the way to go. My truck already has us made tires on it. So why don't you stop being so cheap and actually buy something made here. Or even better just move to China if it's so great that way there will be one less super trucker on the road with odd ball Chinese junk ready to fall off his truck

I have ran the Dynatrac pd880 for years.I have always got good miles out of them. I use them when I pulled mobile home with a single axle, now I use them pulling containers. I have got as high 1 1/2 years out of a set.
