    Hello friends,
How do I find out whether my 2015 Cascadia has a power inverter?

If it means anything, it came with a fridge when I bought it. 1519374203806663218254.jpg

Thank you for your help with this.

Look around sleeper for outlets or under your bunk it may be there. Will be a box looking thing with outlets. The fridge is 12volt doesn't nee an inverter.

I cannot identify your exact model.

Some products on that page requires liquid Propane gas which is DEFINATELY A NO NO around a big truck and some require 120 volt AC power at 60 american hertz (Lucky for you, if it was 50 or something else you would have to go international and get it... 220 volts etc)

Some DO have 12 volt connector. Put those into a big 12 volt tube plug kept nearby for things like lighting up cigars or something. You should have two up front in the cab ahead of the shifter.

If you install a inverter do it at a dealership, WITH SPECIFIC and EXPLICT permission from the Officers of your company. Because that truck might not be a bought truck, but leased, rented or some other arrnagement that will complicate things should a unauthorized inverter catch fire and burn it all down.

In today's world of mega stop idle and drain batteries really quickly... no start etc having to run a inverter to feed your frozen food in a truck like that is impossible. You would do better hunting Ice in a cooler strapped to your catwalk.

We just used a standard camping vehicle cooler stuck into the freightliner\s cabinet with a giant 12 volt plug on it. It did have a 120 volt, but we never used it to be honest even though we had a inverter for it. We were very careful about using that thing. Food like Bacon is gone long before it has a chance to turn bad in a small reefer like that.

    Get at least 2000 watt
    5000 watt is better

That's a 12 volt "truck" fridge using a swing compressor.

If you get an inverter, please please have a professional install it.

Don't try to do it yourself.

Make sure you ask that it is fused at the battery and PLEASE buy a good one that is a pure sine wave inverter. NOT some Chinese junk.

Yes I agree, a red and black wire are too difficult for some drivers to handle.

Most inverters are modified sine wave and run almost everything just fine. If you want to spend the money to get a pure sine wave then by all means, just understand that it is by no means required.

I have a 3kw pure sinewave Coleman inverter. Picked it up at a pawn shop for $100. The thing is huge, but does a great job.
