Hahaha about that age I told my father I needed to leave the farm and get a summer job in my field......welding. So I reported for work at a local welding shop where they told me my job was picking up willow tree branches off the lawn. I made it to lunch

    Retail Distribution
    unemployment
    Then back to retail Distribution
    Then trucking

Realized one day loading trucks the drivers have the easy job just sitting there getting paid 2x what I was.

When I was a kid/young teen I helped my dad on weekends and breaks laying floors

Quit school went to work for remodeling construction company

Joined the guard as a diesel tech for 6 years.

Went to truck driving school, got my CDL, went back to work with my dad hauling a reefer for a little over a year. Quit for the oilfield.

2 days before physical etc at oil company oil bottomed out and they canceled.

Worked at a shop as a tech.

Back to driving only flatbed this time

    Back to reefer.

Quit AGAIN for the oilfield, company went under; couldn’t pay folks.

Back to reefer but switching back to flatbed.

    Oldironfan Thanks this.

Lol yeah. I enjoyed flatbedding the first time, and would have stayed doing it but I don’t appreciate being called and talked to like a dog when I haven’t done anything that warrants that. I got kids, knew I could make decent at my old job pulling reefer so I went back to it. Oh and I had to wait for a speeding ticket to fall off.
