Won’t start after oil change

Did you change fuel filters as well by chance?

 

Ouch..... sounds like that was an expensive oil change.

You could start by telling us what your working on?

If you don't know what your doing then take it to someone that does.

 

When you have a problem, you need to tell us what year, make, and model of truck and engine you are working on. We aren't mind readers. Some engines run the injectors by oil pressure, so no oil, no injection and this results in shutting down. Other than that, if you ran this for a while before you found the oil had run out, you might have seized the engine. Does it crank and turn over ok, but just not fire? Need more info here if you want more help.

Did you fill the oil filter with clean oil before replacing?

 

Hi sir,
My truck is 2015 VOLVO 670 ,D13 Engine.
Last Tuesday,When I am driving, it comes up STOP WARNING. Then it shut down.Many times!The oil pressure only 30, sometimes nearly 0.The oil looks like water and coolant decrease a lot.
I have change fresh oil,everything looks good.Two days after now, I have run 1000 miles,and oil pressure go down 30 again! No warning yet.
I saw somebody said might be the problem of radiator or Cylinder gasket ?Should I go to dealer right now?Thanks.

 

Volvo yup that's the problem.

 

Yes, you better have that engine looked at by a mechanic who knows Volvo engines because it sounds like something is very seriously wrong with it.
