FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Well after 4 days at the house, I will leave out tomorrow and drop this load in Four Oaks, Nc., and pick up a preloaded trailer in Sumter, Sc. going up to Holdrege, Nebraska. Be safe!

 

Dropped in Holdrege, grabbed an empty, and will pick up a loaded trailer in Lincoln that will deliver Friday just outside of Nashville. I did this load a few weeks ago, and they took me before my appointment.

 

So today was a change of plans kinda day. Picked up my load in Lincoln headed to Tennessee, I get about 40 miles East of KCMO, and my phone rings. “can you take your load back to the Kansas City drop yard, and pick up another trailer and be in Newman, Ga at 1300?” So I turn around, get 5 miles from the drop yard, and there is a major wreck on I 435N. It takes me an hour and twenty minutes to go 2 miles.

After I deliver this tomorrow, I’m preplannned on a load out of Sumter, SC going back up to Broken Bow, Nebraska.

 

No doubt, that’s ugly.

 

Another note, I guess we’ve moved into a newer drop yard in KCMO. It’s just one exit away from the previous yard. It’s next to the American Central terminal, newer, cleaner, and well lit.

 

Okay, thanks for the info. It was my first time going to the ACT yard. So where is the mars plant from there?
