Shouldn't you know that before you get a truck?

The Northeast was really tough when I was at Landstar. The rates would not cover the tolls and make a profit. Maybe things are better today but I had to make my money going to the Northeast and you had find anything you could to get out most time had deadhead out because the stuff was so cheap.

You can only move LS loads so it not like you had a big list of loads. LS would always tell use to never go tthe Northeast because no freight to haul out. That was 2 years so maybe I have changed but probably not. I remember seeing load for like $500 CT to NJ that was like $325 to your truck plus you have to pay any tolls. It was not even worth my time.

I used to get loads from Los Angeles to Notheast because they paid enough to cover a cheap load out or deadheading out. Then getting load to Los Angeles was not easy
