I doubt this was the result of an hours of service issue. Simple stupidity.

This is why I am an advocate for the sterilization of stupid people.

But like every other company out there it is difficult to weed out the idiots but I believe our recruiting department needs to do a better job.

If you were in charge of recruiting, what other criteria would you have in addition to one's MVR, employment history, health history, and all around background check?

With as fast as they rotate drivers over there, (2 full orientation classes a week to keep up with departing drivers when I was there), they have to be less selective than they use to be.
