Running with JCT, Part Deux

That’s exactly right about pilots. I used to work for a air cargo company S a mechanic and the pilots described their jobs as hours of boredom and 30 seconds of shear panic.

 

Anybody familiar with the laws about driving with 12 inches of snow on top of the trailer?
I know in VA they'll pull you over and hand you a ladder and shovel...

 

You know after hitting every scale in Idaho Oregon and Washington I really feel like dropping the $25 to get a Norpass, since the norpass transponders work on prepass as well but not the other way around.

Though I know as soon as I do that I'll never get sent to the Pacific Northwest again.....

Or as soon as you do that, Prepass announces compatibility with NorPass.

Same reason I'm still debating to weather or not get an EzPass for Houston tolls. As soon as I do, PikePass will expand to Houston.

 

I thought about Drivewyze since they are slowly expanding up in the Northwest, but that's a monthly fee. At least just buying a Norpass for 25 one time even if I never come up here again, it works with all PrePass sites too, just have to update the transponder number with Permits.

Thing is JCT has to enroll to get our transponders working with Norpass, someone should throw an email at that email suggestion box that I can never remember.

 

If we had PrepassPlus we could get tolling covered in all of Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Kansas, and California on top of the EZ pass states. Would be nice but I bet wishfull thinking.
