When it's $1.48/mile versus .48/mile why not aspire to be an o/o?

Of course. I pay $31.45 a month for DAT members edge load board. It's served me well and has opened a lot of doors for me. I've met a lot of good brokers through the service over the past 2 years that I do a lot of repeat business with. You have to learn how to weed through them, however, I haven't minded the process at all.

To be clear i wasn't comparing van to flat our refer when i said cheap rates. I was talking about long term average freight rates in the region vs rates in other regions, specifically the Ohio valley and Midwest.

Sounds like you've got a good thing going and that you've been successful. Hopefully you're making a lot of money too.

The one I'm talking about is at the highway 198 exit period on the west side of the Freeway it's called Chase diesel, connected to the Chevron station.
