    You are clueless.

Scooter has made very good points. I guarantee you that he is not going to spend 6 hours at a receiver without being compensated for it, which seems to be the gist of your argument.

He can also make a case for enhanced safety by adding flexibility, for which the HOS and ELDs were ostensibly created.

Nothing in what he suggests would require you to have less than a 10 hr. break, heck take 15 if you must. Personally I can't sleep for more than 6 or so hours; we're all wired differently.

We all want to get paid more for doing less, but your way takes away from home time and quality of life.

I was waiting to see if someone actually caught that hidden little nugget in my split berth flexibility example.

In that scenario, I'm actually driving my big rig during non-rush hour times, in and out of L.A. Which is safer than going in and out during rush hour.

You can go in and out outside of rush hour now. No where does it say you have to drive at XX:XX.

Again planning comes into effect ;)

Did you even read what I wrote about how a 6/4 split berth would help me out in that situation? Or are you just popping off like a know it all again?

You act like you're the grand poobah of planning on this thread. I can assure you son, I can plan with the best of them ;-)

Your claim was an inability to avoid rush hour. I see no restriction in 395 preventing you from doing this.

Prove I said that in context of my wider point, or you're a fibber.

Yawn. Lame assumptions. Carry on company man. I'd bet my truck on it that you bend/cheat the rules daily. If you're even really a Commercial Driver. I have my doubts.
