Just FYI. Most power from batteries go thru the starter twice. So if its bad, something is,not gonna work. Aka starting a truck.

Hi God bless you all.
I got a peterbilt 379 2003 with a CAT C-15 6NZ series. I am having problems to starting some times when I open the Switch everything work and the starting work and crank the engine and go on and on but the engine don't star. Also when I am rolling some times go off and I have to turn the key to the off position and turn back on so the engine star again I am going crazy with this I don't have a idea what can be the problem. -

I have 2012 peterbilt 587. I have problems with it cranking up. I can start it the first crank with no problem and then drive down the street get fuel r something n it may hesitate on that second crank the drive back to the yard n turn it off and try to crank it up for a third time n it just sounds like it trying to crank but won’t turn all the way over. Light still working horn blows. Then come back to yard in the morning n it will crank right up no problem. 4 new batteries brand new starter good brand also I done been three 3 of them new alternator and also new battery reley. Some please help me r tell me u been threw r at least heard of something to this sort.

Packee604. I was having the same problem. Check out your battery wires. If you see corrosion on them cut in to the rubber to see if they are not corroded all the way.
