Do you have a pyrometer installed to measure exhaust temps at manifold or turbo?

Looks like they did the old altitude fix to trick the motor with the programming. How is the oil temp, any idea? Using coolant? When you change the oil how long does it stay honey brown after you change the oil?

I haven't checked oil temps. Oil looks normal oil color after changes. Been using some coolant. But I think that is from my apu leaking. This low power #### started after I installed this delete. Prior with the def system working this truck could pull a mountain down. Now it wont do ####.

You have a very bad delete.

I don't know if you are under a load or not, but maybe this guy can help you out. He has a shop right off of I-95 down in PA. I would call him, I do not know if he messes with Volvo's, but I trust him. He has fixed similar problems for friends of mine. I would give him a call, as I am sure he knows about the programming you installed in your truck.

If you cannot get ahold of him, give MR Haggai a call, he is down in the Atlanta area.

They program the computer to trick the motor to think it is running in a high altitude situation, tricking the EGR system. With the SCR system, I don't know how well this would play. It is a sham programming trick that is just a band aid until your motor cooks itself to death. That is why your turbo is screaming and you are losing power. It thinks you are in the mountains at 30,000 feet. No clue how hot your motor is running, the reason you need that pyro. I hope you have not seriously damaged the motor.

I would call those two numbers and see if they can spend a few minutes with you. I would also go over to Rawze.com, ask for an invite and post over there. Real mechanics there that know how to sort these messes out. That is about all I can do for you, and am very sorry to hear this has happened to you.
