Oh, nothing like showing up somewhere with 9 skids at 15,000 lbs only to be told “I’m sorry. We’re closed for inventory”.

Gets better.
I wound up dropping those at the interline company so the driver with their freigh could bring them back.
Stupid in the office told him leave them there so he could send him out to some do-nothing’s territory who’s too good to do pickups.
Great, so now we can’t charge them for storage OR redelivery, and I’m sure the redelivery charge on a 14,000 pound order has to be astronomical.
This disgusted me, and I’m going to raise hell about it tomorrow morning.
