If my truck DIDNT throw the 3226 code occasionally I would start getting nervous. It always went away after a few days.... never derated because of it...

Not to mention that they probably spent as much on repair/replacement cost as the saved on fuel. (And I am including the damage done by the shippers and receivers that have drop/hook loads.)

Getting my truck back today. Spent 2 nights in the hotel. My load was supposed to deliver 2 days ago in Aberdeen. Now my appt is Monday evening. Pretty crappy, but not much you can do with the timing. It's about 270 miles away.

Not the way I wanted to spend the week. But crap happens. I think I'll go do something cool this weekend.

2 nights in a motel mentally is very nice, just sucks to take a hit on the paycheck, even on newbie pay. Did you at least find a nice hotel? I know I enjoyed my hotel when I broke down.

Yeah it's a Days Inn. It has nice breakfast and a restaurant with a bar with 30 draft beers on tap. It really was nice to be here for a couple days. It's soooo quiet here.

This is the first major breakdown I've had in almost 2 years here. I'm not giving up on my trusty truck yet! If I would have bought this truck like I was thinking about, i'd be hurting a whole lot more right now, that's for sure! Lol

    Peterbilt... letting everyone down... shame!

They said the truck would be ready this afternoon, so all this planning went into getting my appt changed, setting up an appt to pick up my locked up trailer (which is running low on fuel now), then good ole Peterbilt ripped the rug from underneath and says “just kidding it will be tomorrow afternoon!” So that’s no fun. Back in the hotel!

Your in a hotel not in the truck. You’ll still make your delivery. I’d call it a win for you.
