Went thrue orientation in York last week.to many rules and regulations quit before actually drove 1 mile.went back to old company on vacation for the week.they put you up in nice hotel close to company.give you rental car to get there.had 5 people in class 2 of us left already other 3 no idea

Celadon sells two subsidiaries to Day & Ross

Celadon Group, Inc. announced that it sold its freight brokerage and managed transportation business, Celadon Logistics, to TA Services, the asset-light division of P&S Transportation on April 16. Two weeks ago, Celadon sold its subsidiary companies A&S Kinard and Buckler Transport to Day & Ross Freight. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

Avoid. I was on the Big Lots local account was like 17 an hour and they dont pay OT. You have baby sit your dispatcher every day. They will call you with a 12am start when they can see you are still rolling at 3pm

Edit: Didnt even realize this was the lease forum, i cant say anything about the lease side of then other than I'm sure it's worse than they treat actual employees

 

I can only speak from a company driver perspective. I had oral surgery and they cancelled my insurance when I was prescribed a painkiller for my dental condition and safety told me to take time off to heal. A week later I got a letter in the mail saying I was no longer employed, but welcome to reapply.
